Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or the street legal 6 seater golf cart or bikes! So many options!!  Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:

Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.

Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. 

Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offer a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a short (4 Minute!) walk from the home, with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and even a fitness center! The New Prominence South Pool is located just behind the Hub across 30A!
The Prominence North Pool is also Seasonally Heated for the following months every year:

We had a great time at your lovely home! The home was very nice, great location and golf cart, bikes, and beach chairs were a huge plus! Beds were comfy and pillows were firm, which is rare but appreciated. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We love Prominence- it's a good location and the Hub is lots of fun for casual eating and hanging out at night - our kids love the pool also and the golf carts and bikes on hand offer additional activities! I will mention that the toilets in the master bathroom and half bath downstairs were not working well when we arrived - they each had to be plunged because they were not flushing properly. Also, the wall microwave in the kitchen started beeping this morning for no reason - it finally stopped right before we left...the owners must be aware of glitches in this appliance because there is a small microwave on the counter but it cannot fit large plates or dishes well... Overall a great place and we will continue recommending Prominence to friends..this was our second year visiting

All things Fantastic!! The check-in process was super easy, the checkout process was super easy. Very responsive staff with the messaging feature. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The golf cart, bikes, and beach chairs were all in great shape! We would absolutely stay here again, and in this unit as well. Great job Beachwalk vacations! Thanks very much for a great mother/daughter spring break!

The condo was a good location and clean and very well stocked. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We did see a bunch of ants in the condo. The ant issue should probably be addressed as it’s impossible to keep the floors completely crumb free. I mostly saw them in the master bedroom and/ living room. Also, there was not one hanger in the entire house. I typically don’t travel with hangers expecting a few of them in the closets- so hangers would be nice in this rental. The golf cart and bikes were perfect and an added bonus of a cooler and beach chair a were also nice .

All Couch cushions soaking wet on arrival, 0 trash bags, 1 roll paper towels, 1 laundry detergent, 1 dishwasher packet, 2 bottles shampoo and 2 bars of soap for 6 people- 5 night stay. Called for resupply and brought over next evening

Our family stay was wonderful. Home was immaculate. Everything we needed. Only suggestion is to give directions to which front door belongs to the unit because we spent a good amount of time walking to different doors trying to unlock it. Hoping To not be at the wrong door. Maybe I missed it in the instruction but I don’t recall seeing it. Other than that it was perfection!
