Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there!
Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence.
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New Prominence South Pool is located just steps from Sea Mist and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, and bathhouse!
The Prominence North Pool is also Seasonally Heated for the following months every year:

My sister, nieces, grandson, mother and I just spent a week here. I love this area and wanted to bring my family for their first visit. Everyone had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It’s a beautiful home and very comfortable. The golf cart and bikes were a great bonus. We would highly recommend this home.

The house was beautiful! I absolutely loved all of the decor! Can you tell me where the white/tan bed in the 2nd bedroom was purchased? The only thing I would recommend is having a shuttle to the beach during the months of spring break. Going to the beach was very inconvenient due to parking,etc. it was too far to walk.

We had a beautiful time. Everything was perfect at the condo. The decor is perfect, location to everything was great, bikes and golf cart provided, all made our stay comfortable and accommodating. We highly recommend.

The house was clean and tidy. I would suggest providing more dishwashing liquid, detergent and kitchen trash bags. It helps renters keep the house clean.
