Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there!
Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. 
 
Community Pool: The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New South Pool is located just a short walk from the home and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Hub which offers several restaurants including - Reds Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, The Hub Taco Truck, as well as many more!

No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted in La SEA-Esta at Prominence South on 30A. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
No Smoking: Smoking in any form (e.g. cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) are not permitted in La SEA-Esta. No exceptions will be made!! Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
Golf Cart: The Golf Cart is provided to the Guest by a 3rd Party Vendor, BeachWalk Vacation Gear, LLC ("BVG, LLC"). The rental policy signed is between the Guest and BVG, LLC. Golf Cart is not owned or provided to the Guest by the Homeowner or BeachWalk Vacation Properties, LLC.

Great stay over New Years. Beachwalk Vacations was very prompt with responding to questions/needs. Lots of living space between the downstairs and the front porch. Enjoyed reading on the porch. Beds were very comfortable. The only “fyi” for future guests is the two bed bunk room does not have a door. The Big Chill is great for grabbing a quick bite. Otherwise this location is centrally located. Easy bike ride to Rosemary or Seaside. Would definitely stay here again.

The house layout and design were perfect for our family and friends! This location is not walking distance to Seaside although it is great location if you want to avoid congestion on 30A. WiFi wasn’t the best and my cellphone service was spotty. The water in the entire home was turned off for about an hour while we had 3 people in the shower. No notice was provided. Very frustrating. The food choices inside Big Chill were amazing. Loved the bikes which we used daily. I would inform future visitors that the kitchen is not stocked with basic salt, pepper or cooking oil. The fitness center was a let down. Old equipment which consisted of 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and 1 all-in-one weight system which was really outdated.

Very clean and comfortable. We would have appreciated basic kitchen supplies such as salt and pepper. Most homes we’ve stayed in had very basic items like that.

This house was perfect for spring break! Pros-location and size. There were 7kids and 3 adults and we all were comfortable. The Hub provided dinner and lunch options but also gave the kids freedom to go to the Hub without a parent. Full bathrooms were great sizes with nice showers. Cons-the living room furniture could use a good cleaning. 2 of the bikes were broken. The beach toys (boogie boards,etc) were broken. Not in great condition. We would definitely return!

Hello, We enjoyed our stay at the beach house and for the most part it was great. A few suggestions which would have made our stay better... We had to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and garbage sacks. We also found it challenging to refill the golf cart with gas, the gas can does not hold enough gas to completely refill, so we had to make several trips to the gas station at the end of the stay. Beach towels would have been nice since we are renting a beach house. The couch cover was torn and dirty and the freezer did not work for the first two days since the bottom was missing. This did get resolved. These issues did create some work arounds for our family that was unexpected and a bit frustrating. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful location, but through all my travels and rentals, we have never had to provide basic toiletries. Thank you, Jeremy and Tracy

The range cook top did not work. For a family of 15 that was a major issue. The dishwasher also does not work well. The hope itself was beautiful and comfortable.

We love staying near the Hub since it’s so family friendly and there’s always something happening. This house was overall very nice, but there were a few inconveniences....we had to purchase a can opener for the kitchen since the one that was there was broken. The kitchen supplies in general were limited (not great for cooking in house). The ice maker did not work, and the ice dispensing machine at the Hub was empty most of the days we were there. There also were not any board/card games, and very limited items for beach use. I know this is picky, but we’ve stayed at several houses where all of these things we didn’t even have to think about. Again, overall a good stay and we will be back to the Prominence area!

We loved the home! Very spacious, the non bunk beds were comfortable, and convenient location! Only one negative and that was the front door lock. We could never get it to lock. Unsure if it was due to user malfunction or what.. Other than that, we loved our stay and will be recommending!

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, and very clean! The bikes and golf cart were SO nice. We also really liked the location. The Hub and pool areas were convenient, and it was only a short drive to the beach-hoping that they add beach access with the new construction! I do wish the kitchen had a few more items (like a cookie sheet or pizza pan), and the dishwasher was not the greatest. The WiFi was super slow with multiple people in the home. Streaming a movie was near impossible. Just a couple of little things, but overall we enjoyed our stay.
