Guest can take the Shuttle down to Gulf Lakes beach Accesses or see the Deer Lake State Park with its rare dune lakes.
 
This two-story luxury home presents a coastal feel of rest and relaxation in the heart of 30A. Being only minutes away from popular hotspots such as Seaside, Watersound, and Alys Beach! 'Flip Flop Inn' is dressed in wood floors throughout, crown moldings, high-end appliances and fixtures. The comfortable living room offers new, plush furnishings adjacent to a well set dining room overlooking an outdoor patio. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the 6 seater golf cart, complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: This is the closest access via Golf Cart! The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 0.5 miles to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

The house was beautiful and was very spacious, plenty of room for our group of 11 adults (with beds to spare). A few things could of been better: 1. There is absolutely no spices (not even salt and pepper), the kitchen was very limited in supplies and we were not prepared for that. (We had to go buy trash bags and paper towels) With how much we paid for the house, we expected more availability in the kitchen. 2. The hallway toilet was funky and we had to make sure to flush it right so it didn’t run 24/7. 3. The upstairs room with queen beds door would not allow the guests out from inside the room. We would have to open it from the outside to let them out. They ended up leaving the door open all of our stay because that is such a dangerous fire hazard. 4. The golf cart’s alignment was VERY off and was pretty hard to drive. We had to really focus to keep it straight. The battery was also very weak and we almost ran out of charge just going a few miles. (On a full charge). 5. They told us only 2 parking spots were available, and that street parking was prohibited, but there was open parking in front of the house that we could of have used. There is also open parking around the HUB which is only a 2 minute walk from the house. Our over all stay was very nice, we loved the area and neighborhood. And all the beach stuff in the garage was awesome! If those minor issues would be fixed, this house would be the perfect stay!

Overall we had a very nice stay. Glows...The house was beautiful, spacious, and served our purpose well. It was great to have the golf cart and bikes available to us. The amenities in the community were convenient. Grows... I was unable to get cell service in the house and in most of the community. The locks on the double doors going out to the front porch and to the garage we’re tricky to re-lock.

The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, we had plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. We were very satisfied with our stay once we begun it. However, working with you guys wasn't great. My first encounter with you took over 2 weeks to respond to. I never received any updates from you in regard to the vacation rental ban. Others that were staying down there using different rental companies were constantly in the know about what was going on. Additionally, I had to check in with you more than four times about trying to obtain an early check in and late check out. Each time I was told to check back closer to my stay, and in the end you were not accommodating at all. I would love to stay in the house again, but likely would find another company that is easier to work with.

Very clean. Thank you. Only issue (not fault of owner/renting co.) but no cel service there. In 2020 you would think cell coverage at all locations inhabited by humans. But once again clean facility and well equipped rental property.

The space was lovely and staff very responsive. I would say that our house needed more basic items. It had no spices or salt/pepper, 1 dish towel, very small bowls for storage of food. Large groups of people need more, larger bowls. We had to buy salt and pepper and that is a pretty basic item. We left some of our purchased items there for the next family.

We loved the house,:the arrangement is wonderful and the beds are so comfortable! The decor of the home is luxurious. Those rockers in the front porch were used daily! The outdoor shower, bikes, golf cart, and access to The Hub really enhanced our stay. The showers in every bath were excellent. Strangely though, the water in the kitchen never got warm. Our only suggestion would be to stock the kitchen more completely- maybe some smaller, kid friendly plates. Wish it was closer to the beach, but the access to the pool and The Hub was perfect.
