30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald blue waters indigenous to the area. Each village has its own unique characteristics that paint a fairy tale like scene against some of the country's most beautiful beaches. No Pets No Smoking
Pets, smoking nor vaping are not permitted at Dawg Days. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of any necessary cleaning. Violations may also results in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
 
Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
 
Community Pool: The Town of Prominence offers a 2 large resort style community pools! The New South Pool is located just a short walk from the home and features a stunning fire pit! The North Pool is over 5,000 sq ft and is just a short walk across 30A with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center! 
 
The Prominence North Pool is also Seasonally Heated for the following months every year:

Very nice home with the exception of the lack of window treatments. 2 of the bedrooms have nothing on the windows and the 2 bedrooms that do have window treatments are practically paper. Sun is way to bright to not have anything on the windows.

House was great for our group. Only drawback was inability to see any ocean at all from the development, but I knew that going in. I have messaged directly re: any issues we had. House could be a little better stocked. There were no extra trash bags and kitchen was bare bones.

We loved the house. Nice floor plan and furnishings were very nice. We had ants in the kitchen; front two bedrooms need window treatments to keep out morning sun. Need an explanation on how to use cable tv. Bathrooms were exceptional. Overall a very nice home and we liked the location.

Everything was beautiful. The only downfall was that we couldn’t use the garage because the owner’s car was in there. I felt like it shouldn’t have been there and if something would have happened to it we probably would have been held responsible for it. The house and resort is beautiful! Well stay again.

The house was great and decor was very good also. Bikes were an added bonus and got plenty of use. Unfortunately the coffee machine didn’t work at all. Would definitely recommend and look at this property for future FL stays.

Awesome house!!! Gorgeous interior. Brand new build. Two master bedrooms. Nice Washer/dryer. Huge TVs throughout the house. The two master baths are ginormous! 12 foot ceilings- just amazing! You HAVE to rent a golf cart for your entire stay: Beach access is a mile away. Easy golf cart ride to the beach access, but too far to walk. House had 4 brand new nice bikes. “The Hub” is part of this property and it’s so fun and convenient. Lots of fun restaurants, souvenir stores, ice cream shop, general store (for ice etc), outdoor amphitheater that shows movies. Super fun atmosphere for all ages. We ate there two of the three nights during our stay.
