30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there!
Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
 
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
 
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
 
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. 
 
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offer a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a short (4 Minute!) walk from the home, with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and even a fitness center! The New Prominence South Pool is located just behind the Hub across 30A!
 
The Prominence North Pool is also Seasonally Heated for the following months every year:

We really enjoyed staying here! The condo is very nice and the appliances are great (we stayed home and cooked). The location is also great. We went to the state beach down the road and it was so convenient using the golf cart. The beds are also very comfortable.

The house was very clean and everything worked great! Check in experience was a breeze. The community was quiet and in a perfect location. Had fun at the big chill with the family at night. Highly recommend the deer lake beach access. Go early so you get a spot. Definitely worth the walk. I would stay in this unit again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

The place was very nice and exactly as advertised. The golf cart was a nice plus as well. Location is fantastic if you like to go explore since it sits between SeaSide and Rosemary Beach. It would be nice if they had a water hose to clean up with outside. Also a broom inside would’ve been handy. Other than that we loved it.

This was an overall FANTASTIC stay! Lovely home, great location, peaceful community and the weather was perfect. This home offered all that we needed for a great relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Only two issues, both toilets stopped up (but they were an easy fix), and the beach accessories could stand to be updated (they were flimsy, broken down and not usable). You would think a stay at such a nice home would offer better beach accessories.
