Relaxation and coastal adventures await in our new home, '30 Yay!" at the Town of Prominence on 30A; offering resort accommodations for up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses! All you have to choose is how you want to get there; use the complementary tram (seasonal) or bikes! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed.
Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.6 miles West of Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.
Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Prominence Beach Shuttle runs seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Community Pool:
The Town of Prominence offer a large resort style community pool over 5,000 sq ft! The pool is just a short walk east on York Lane with cabanas, grills, bathhouse, and fitness center!

We have stayed at Prominence before and love it! However, a few issues with this rental kept me from giving 5 stars - the garbage disposal and sink draining was an issue our entire stay, the bike trailer had two flat tires and then when we found a kind neighbor to air them up we ended up having multiple nights ruined because the connection to the bike was broken. The master bed was very noisy waking everyone up when someone made the slightest move, and the biggest concern was the golf cart backfiring each time we drove it. Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully these are easy fixes for you to complete to make the next family’s stay a five star.

Beautiful unit, perfect location. Kitchen needs to be stocked with new pans, I had to cook eggs in a pot as the Teflon was chipping off into eggs! Kitchen is poorly stocked. Thankfully we ate out every night or it would’ve been challenging.

Place was extremely clean and well designed. Plenty of room for our group of four adults. Location was good to the cute Hub area and a short bike or golf cart ride away to the beach. which was relatively calm and not crowded. Pool was really nice but was slammed with families as to be expected during peak months. Mattress in master was extremely uncomfortable and ought to be replaced (we aren’t even old yet and felt like it was bad). When we showed up we only had one bike lock for four bikes without the code being written anywhere. We wanted to use them to go out and about but didn’t feel comfortable not being able to lock them since we would be on the hook if they got stolen. Property management was responsive and eventually got us the bike lock code but it took about two days to get the additional bike locks which was a bit irritating. Would have been nice to have some items in the kitchen like an oven mitt, salt/pepper/oil and coffee filters but we understand rentals have different rules about what they keep stocked so it wasn’t a huge deal Overall good experience and lovely home, would recommend to others

Condo was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay but there are a couple of items that need attention. The mattress in the master bedroom Really needs replacing. It’s worn out and both my husband and I rolled into the hole in the middle. Unfortunately we both had backaches from this all week. There was only one kitchen dish cloth and one dish towel. A few more really would have helped. Also the chains on the bicycles need to be oiled. I realize the bikes are an extra courtesy but in the salty air they do need to be maintained to last. Other than those things the stay was really nice.

I have to be honest, I'm pretty hard to please and have pretty high expectations. This was a fabulous home, well built, great floor plan and layout, well appointed, exceptionally decorated and taken care of. Each and every appliance was top quality all the way down to the washer and dryer. The location was directly across from the HUB, very convenient to plenty of restaurants and beaches and the 3 bicycles and golf cart made getting around extremely easy. The pool was fantastic, great lay out, plenty of room for the children to play and extremely well taken care of and maintained. We'll be staying at this home several times in the future.

Great value at the special price. Over all the home was VERY clean other than many plates and glasses were very dirty and many cooking pans appeared to have not been cleaned since last use. We had to wash before using. Both garbage cans in garage were completely full upon arrival and we neglected to place them outside on the correct evening, missing the very early garbage truck run the next morning. We took all of our garbage to the dumpster by the pool. Needless to say the garage stunk very badly when we arrived and throughout our stay. Those minor issues didn't keep us from having a great time in a great home!
